Hi! I'm Anne, and I'm the sole owner and operator of Eastern Shore Soap Co. LLC. My company was born from watching my kids grow up developing irritations and allergies to the products we all used on a regular basis. Feeling helpless, I began to research and explore the natural handmade product world, and discovered that so many positive results can come from using things a lot of us usually use in cooking or overlook in general! What started out as a desire to make healthier products for my family to use in our everyday lives that would ease the conditions that came and went, turned into a passion for creating products that are free of harsh chemicals and toxic ingredients for the community at-large. To this day, I watch friends and neighbors struggle with skin issues, but now I'm equipped with the knowledge that can make a difference! Curating recipes with ingredients that are better for the skin and beneficial to a variety of skin conditions and types is what the foundation of this company is, and we will continue to contribute to the future of healthier skin care together, with you!
Our Story
Eastern Shore Soap Co. is a small locally-owned business located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Nestled between the fast-paced world of the suburban "Western Shore" and the sleepy, hometown vibe of the Eastern Seaboard, most notably Ocean City, MD. Our company specializes in handmade soaps, skin care products, and other household items (concentrated dish soap bars, for example). We use natural and naturally-derived ingredients (think along the lines of fragrance and essential oil blends made from plant-based products), and put care and consideration into the curation of each and every recipe we use.
